Updates on Tec4Cloud Technology – November 2024

In this November edition of our technical updates, we are excited to share the latest advancements and upcoming technical innovations  within our Tec4Cloud platform. 

Recent updates to the Tec4Cloud:

• New icon for added/deleted devices in the Site: The new icon indicates the duration for which the device was active within an Application.
• A stop date for applications: Alerts will be generated solely while the Application remains active.

Get ready to experience three groundbreaking features soon to be unveiled in our Tec4Cloud platform!

A "help" menu option in the Tec4Cloud that links directly to our FAQ-website

This feature will grant users instant access to an extensive collection of frequently asked questions, along with expertly created documents such as Manuals, Factsheets and Quick Guides, all detailing the technical aspects of our devices. It is crafted to significantly enhance the user experience by providing swift and straightforward access to essential information, ensuring users can effortlessly find answers to their requests.

The menu item for Projects will be renamed to "Project Setup," and the field will move up one position

This feature enhances clarity regarding project settings and their impact on other functionalities, such as Shipments and Sites within the Tec4Cloud.

Modifications to the alert settings within "Project Setup" will no longer apply universally to Sites and Shipments

Modifications to alert settings will no longer automatically apply to Sites and Shipments. Each Site and Shipment must now be updated individually. A note in the alert settings under "Project Setup" clarifies that any changes to alerts will not affect existing Sites and Shipments, but will only apply to future alert selections.
