Updates on Tec4Cloud Technology – May 2025

Discover the technical updates from May 2025

Innovation within the Tec4Cloud platform continues to build in May. 🌱 This month, we're thrilled to bring you even more exciting developments and technical insights from the Tec4Cloud platform. From enhanced features to upcoming releases, here's what's new and noteworthy.

Recent updates to the Tec4Cloud:

  • Download calibration certificates in the Tec4Cloud
The feature for downloading calibration certificates directly from the Tec4Cloud WebPortal is now available. You can now easily download calibration directly from the WebPortal — simply navigate to the device view and open the ‘Details’ section. To help you stay compliant and avoid missed deadlines, our system will also proactively notify you when calibration certificates are nearing expiration and when it’s time to recalibrate your devices. This feature is available for all supported devices, including TempBeaconCryoBeaconSmartTag S/M, and SmartTag SP/S Lite/ MP. Please note: Devices that do not support calibration certificates, such as SmartHub and SmartLock, will not display this option.

  • Automatic scanning of nearby TempBeacons/CryoBeacons using the Tec4App

It is now possible to scan all nearby Beacons directly within the Tec4App. This significantly simplifies the process of reading data from TempBeacons and CryoBeacons, even when they are installed in hard-to-reach locations such as high shelves or ceiling mounts in warehouses. A new button has been added to the bottom left corner of the app interface. When tapped, the app initiates a scan that lasts approximately 15 seconds, after which all detected Beacons are automatically listed and ready to be managed. Please note that this feature is currently only available on Android devices. Support for iOS will be introduced in a future update.

Updates coming soon in the Tec4Cloud….

Get ready to experience groundbreaking features soon to be unveiled in our Tec4Cloud platform!

Advanced filter options for Shipments, Sites, Devices & Project Setup

For the features "Shipment""Sites""Devices", and "Project Setup" in the Tec4Cloud, it will be possible to customize the filter options. By clicking the button on the far right, a new window with filter settings will open. Users can define individual parameters to control what is displayed on each overview page.

For example, shipments have specific settings, parameters, or metrics that can be shown on the shipment list page. Filtering and sorting shipments by selected data provides a clear overview of ongoing activities.

Enable optional pre-alerts for Shipments/Sites

With the introduction of this new feature in Tec4Cloud, users will now receive visual notifications on their Site dashboard through distinct alert icons. A yellow triangle icon indicates a pre-alert, while a red triangle denotes a triggered alert. These visual indicators enable immediate recognition of the alert status. Additionally, pre-alert thresholds and conditions can be configured directly within the Project Setup > Alert Settings section.

Shipment View: Set Manual Timestamps and Configure Report & Deeplink Options

In the future, it will be possible to customize shipment reports by selecting specific lanes and data tabs (such as timeline, events, or shock) before generating the report. This allows you to include only the most relevant information, especially for multi-lane shipments.

The same level of customization will also be available for deeplinks. When creating a public link to share shipment data, customers will be able to choose exactly what information is included. A new “Public Links” section will provide an overview of existing links, options to create new ones, and features like QR code generation, editing, and expiration settings.

This upcoming functionality is designed to give customers more control and flexibility when reporting or sharing shipment data.
