Updates on Tec4Cloud Technology – January 2025

In this January edition of our technical updates, we are excited to share the latest advancements and upcoming technical innovations  within our Tec4Cloud platform. 

Recent updates to the Tec4Cloud:

• The mobile search and filter functionality for the Shipment list in the Tec4App has been optimized

  This feature allows users the same filtering capabilities as the browser version. 

   

• Allow the display of selected parameters on the list page for Devices, Users, and Shipments to create a tailored overview

  Customized individual parameters for single features in the Cloud to be displayed on the list page.

Get ready to experience three groundbreaking features soon to be unveiled in our Tec4Cloud platform!

Two-Factor Authentication with Email Code

From now on as a registered user of the portal it is possible to enjoy enhanced security with two-factor authentication, ensuring your account remains safeguarded from unauthorized access.

Site Management: Optimization of the Search Function

Discover the enhanced search capabilities that streamline your Site management experience! Our search function now effortlessly displays applications linked to specific sites, ensuring you find exactly what you need. With the innovative option to narrow your search to a particular application, you can instantly access the precise information you're looking for.

Improved Site Creation Experience and Optimized Main Page Display

When you save a new Site, a popup window will appear. This window prompts you to create an application with the following options:

• Create New Application: This will immediately create and assign a new application to the new Site.

• Later: This option closes the popup without taking further action.

You can also create a new application later by navigating to the Site Manager on the main page of the Sites. If you wish to move an existing application to the new Site, simply go to the settings of the application and select the new Site.

Additionally, please note that empty Sites will no longer be displayed at the bottom of the main Sites page. However, you can still find them using the search function.
